Meet Elijah
Elijah was born in Orlando, graduated from The Geneva School in Winter Park and earned his degree in International Business from Rollins College, both on scholarship. Elijah also played on Rollins’ Men’s Basketball team. Today, he manages some of Orlando’s most prominent Downtown event venues and restaurants. He is also co-owner of the soon to open Winter Park restaurant, “ORO Winter Park.”
Instilled in him at an early age and inspired by his faith, Elijah has a passion for community and public service that continues today. Elijah is a board member of Club Blue within the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida and mentors young people through his coaching, teaching them the importance of character, sportsmanship and integrity. Elijah also takes time to read to the 1st – 3rd graders at the Club’s Eatonville branch.
As a young businessman, Elijah has become very active in the Winter Park business community. He graduated from Winter Park Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Winter Park and was nominated one of the Chamber’s Emerging Leaders in 2021.
Over the past two years, with the closing of over 120 Winter Park businesses, and the millions in overspending of our tax dollars, and the inordinate amount of time spent on trivial things like regulating what type of leaf blower Winter Park homeowners could use, Elijah decided that needed to change. He decided to run for the Winter Park Commission to be an advocate for Winter Park’s young families, the West Side and local employers and businesses.
